Ahmed has over 15 years of experience in financial advisory and investment banking. He previously worked with EY in Egypt, Makaseb Capital in UAE and Fincorp and Asiaf Holding in KSA with Premiere Investment Holding in Egypt as Vice President of Financial Advisory Solutions and Board Member in Premiere Investment Holding, where he oversaw private equity investment in building materials real estate, metals and agribusiness.

Ahmed also has five years of experience in corporate finance with Mars Inc. as the Regional Finance Manager for Levant and Maghreb countries. He also worked at Juhayna Group as an Associate Financial Director for the agriculture sector.

She is a Living Future Accredited ™, and a Biophilic Design Ambassador, volunteering with the International Living Future Institute™ as a Collaborative Facilitator and launched Egypt’s Collaborative, which is the 1st of its kind for the Institute in Africa and the Middle East. She is currently working as a sustainability consultant and educator.

Dalia Sadany is an Egyptian Architect and multidisciplinary designer. She is also a contractor, writer and motivational speaker. Over the course of her career she received 12 design awards in various fields of design from; interior design, arts & crafts and furniture to urban, landscaping and building structures. In 2014 she was ranked 12th in A’ Design Award Global Designer ranking placing her in the highest echelon of designers in the Arab World. Serving her 2nd term Sadany is the President of the International Association of Designers (IAD) headquartered in Como Italy – the first female and middle eastern to be elected for this position. She is also the founding chairman of Asda Association the first non-profit design hub dedicated to promoting design and development of young designers in Egypt. Dr. Mohamed Elmogy is the General Counsel of Siemens, Egypt and Libya. Mohammed Habashy is an attorney at the new urban communities authority, Ministry of housing, Egypt. Mr. Mohammed did his master in public law and administrative science from Beni- Suef university.

Shokry Has been graduated from Alexandria University, Faculty of Engineering, Architectural department in 2004 ranking the 1st place in his department “Housing Dept.” with a Distinctive grade “ degree of honor” ,  obtained his MSc. Degree in 2009. As a Faculty-Staff member, Shokry has been working as an assistant lecturer in his Department till 2009 in addition to his parallel role on the level of professional career as a Senior architect then a design director in multiple reputed firms in Egypt. In 2011 Shokry has started his regional practice in GCC, and has been certified in 2013 as an AIA international associate and professional architect in many Gulf Countries. Mostafa Earned his B.Ss from Ain Shams University 1994 with distinction and honours, he holds his Ph.D. degree from the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, at the University of Liverpool, UK 2003. He worked at EPSRC funded projects and lectured at the University of Liverpool until 2006. Mostafa taught many courses related to architectural Building Services and technical studies at many European and Egyptian Universities at Undergraduate and Postgraduate Levels. He served as the General Manager, at the Technical Affairs Department, NEW URBAN COMMUNITIES AUTHORITY NUCA, Ministry if Housing and Urban Development, EGYPT. He published numerous papers at Journals and international conferences, as well as contributions in books.

He is a Visiting Scholar, Department of Architecture, University of Liverpool. UK. Many postgraduate students have been successfully supervised by him for research towards the degrees of MPhil and PhD. He is an academic referee for several International and national journals. He is currently the Director of Credit Hours Engineering Programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, where he as well leads as Director to its International Collaboration Office.

NOHA BAKR

Noha Bakr PhD in inter disciplinary field of International Relations, and International Organizations. She has received a distinguished Alumni award from the American University in Cairo & National Defense University of Washington.

Dr Bakr current position is the Executive Director of the Cement Division, in the Egyptian Federation Industries,  in addition to being a Professor Adjunct Faculty, Political Science Department the American University in Cairo teaching International Organizations & Human Rights. Dr Bakr, has also worked in the Cement industry as the Communication Director & Spokes Women of Lafarge. As an academic her publications are focused in the field of security, and international organizations. Dr Bakr has headed different Panels, as a speaker & participant in conferences, workshops, and programs, on the national, regional, and international level, lectured in various academic & industrial platforms.

Dr Bakr has been a contributor of a weekly article in Ahram Iktisady publication for two years, Contributor to Beyond periodical which is issued by former United   Nations employees. Graduated in 2000 from AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland, Pawel Kawalec pursue the career at the university as the professor assistant, working with students but simultaneously working on research project and conducting consulting works for Polish Mining Industry in a wide range of mineral commodities, from lignite to sand extraction. Author of several scientific papers and three books. For the past 14 years, Radwa Maher Amin has served as mechanical and LEED expert. Her work has been committed to streamlining design and construction phases in buildings industry to not only create efficiency but also sustainability. Radwa had worked in several reputable and multi-national consultancies and project management firms in Egypt and was committed to energy conservation and environmental responsibility. At the moment, she is the owner of Wahdj Company which aims to shift gear conventional building design to sustainable building design in Egypt and the Middle East. Radwa’s ambition is to spread the knowledge of sustainable buildings and communities and to showcase to designers and construction teams the simplest way to transform the buildings industry from conventional to sustainable market. Radwa has a published article “Managing the Business of Sustainable Buildings” and has been a speaker several times in the field of sustainability. Radwa is a Tarsheed Assessor, LEED AP BD+C and PMP professional. Radwa is a graduate of “Ain Shams University” with a Bachelor of mechanical power engineering in the year of 2004. She is also the communication and Stakeholder head for Egypt Green Building Council.

RADWA ROSTOM

Radwa Rostom is a civil engineer with more than nine years working experience. Rostom worked in several fields such as construction, green buildings, environmental consultancy, energy efficiency, energy management and CSR. Rostom also worked with several international organizations such as the World Bank, UNIDO and UNDP.

In April 2014, Rostom was granted a fellowship from “The DO School” in Hamburg, Germany where she had the chance to Kick-off her startup “Hand Over” a social enterprise that uses sustainable construction technology to design and build cost-effective and environment-friendly building for the different segment of our community, using the Human centered design approach and backed-up by research. The ultimate goal is to revolutionize the building industry and create a model that could be replicated to create suitable communities.

Rostom is a certified earth builder from the Earth institute in Auroville, India. Rostom was featured on the list of “The 100 most influential Young Arabs under 40 in 2015 & 2016”, created by Arabian Business magazine. In September 2015, Rostom was awarded the wining prize for the “Women for Resilient Cities” Competition, organized by the World Bank and recently she was granted two fellowships from “Echoing Green” organization and “Ashoka” organization.

Slawomir Szpunar is a graduate of the University of Technology in Krakow, Poland where he was awarded degrees in Engineering and Architecture. He has started there his professional career as Junior Lecturer.
Joined Isover (Saint-Gobain Insulation) in 1994 and held various increasingly responsible marketing positions on both national and international level in Poland, France and USA. Slawomir joined Saint-Gobain Corporate Marketing team in 2011, As the International Marketing Director responsible for global implementation of Saint-Gobain Multi-Comfort program he supports both creation of local reference Multi-Comfort projects and co-operation with Building Science network. This work aims to understand better all Habitat determiners of human comfort, health & wellbeing and foster innovations helping to reach their optimum state.

SOMAYA ALBADRY AHMED

Architect & Lecturer, Future University

An architect, assistant lecturer, interior designer and most importantly a researcher in the field of sustainable architecture. After acquiring her BSC in architecture from Cairo University, Somaya involved in the academic career which she reinforced with practical experience by working at a consultant office. She finished her master’s degree from the American University in Cairo with a distinction GPA.Her research interest is in energy saving for buildings, which was her master’s thesis subject as well as the research on which she won the first prize at the AUC research day in Cairo. She believes in community service and that’s why she’s been a volunteer in many NGOs since high school.

Tamer Nabil is a senior executive with cumulative 20 years of experience in architecture engineering, real estate development, business development and project management. With his global perspective, the entrepreneurial-minded, Tamer is recognized expert in Business Management related to Real Estate Industry.

Tamer started his career in 1989 in the architecture engineering field. He worked for many reputable architecture firms where he held a number of senior positions before he moved to the real estate field.

In 2005, Tamer joined Mountain View for Real Estate Development leading on a real estate project. In 2010, Tamer was promoted to a Real Estate Development Director, managing a portfolio of real estate projects across Egypt.

In 2012, Tamer moved to business management as the Managing Director of DMA He succeeded to achieve a revenue growth for the company over a period of 2 years, having DMA placed among the most recognized names in the industry, particularly in the residential sector.In 2013, Tamer headed the Business Development Committee for the Engineering Sector in Dar Al Mimar Group. He was also responsible for the regional market expansion. Starting 2015, Tamer Nabil is assigned to hold the position of a CEO for DMG – GCC, and the CEO of Mountain View Life.
